10/12/22 - 11/29/22 -Personal insecurity is the source of a lot of issues in relationships -The way I phrase things is probably my biggest current communication weakness -directness is not always the right way  -You're not you when it's that time of the month RIP -How to validate -How to ask questions to help people express how they're feeling and process their feelings -How to hold space for someone

It's That Time Of The Year . . . Transfers.

I'm going back to a spanish ward!!!!!  WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm transferring tomorrow to Chandler, to a ward where I started my mission. I spent 6 weeks in one half, and now I'll probably finish the last three transfers of my mission in the other half. Full circle! My trainee Sister Spearman is officially a full fledged missionary . . . and now an STL! I have loved being her comp.  I had a great time in Coolidge! I'm excited for the next leg of my adventure.  Until next time, Hermana Ebbert

The 1% Better Guy Came

Elder Michael A. Dunn of the 70 came to our mission this week! We had a zone conference and a mission leadership conference with him. He is AWESOME! He taught us that resilience doesn't always mean finishing 1st place, but it means finishing even when it's hard!  He also taught that Christ can heal us, and it doesn't matter who is or isn't helping us, or who/what is in the way. We can be healed, take up our bed, and walk, never going back.  He had a great call with our friend Anthony, where he said that he wants to be a missionary after he gets baptized to help the "newbies". Life is good! Happy Thanksgiving! Also I got a free haircut from a member Until next time, Hermana  Ebbert

I Hiked A "Mountain"

Image
Guys I went on a hike! No one has hiked in the last 6 months because of the heat. It was nice to be out again.  Members got us dominos twice this week. Eating like champions.  One of the Zone Leaders got Emergency Transfered. A couple people in our mission are going home for mental or physical reasons and so people had to be moved around.  Not much else happened. Life is good! Our friends are progressing well towards making promises with God! Until next time, Hermana  Ebbert
