Aliens? Nah, Just Space X

Image
We saw an alien spaceship in the sky. Turns out it was just Space X. Oh well. The second coming will have to wait ;) We had Mission Leadership Conference and we hiked a mountain! It was fun. We also had mission president interviews and he asked how a girl from Wisconsin gets cold in 60 degree weather. I've been outed. We dressed up as elders for Halloween. Spooky A member told us that "Heavenly Father doesn't work on coincidence; He never has." So true. Miracles should be the rule, not the exception in your life! Until next time, Hermana Ebbert

What?

Honestly not a lot happened this week. We ate pie and rolls and took pictures in a cotton field. My companion is the best.  Life is good.  Until next time Hermana Ebbert

Meetings Meetings Meetings

Image
We had meetings pretty much every day this week for STL stuff. It was super fun. I know a lot of people don't like meetings but I always find missionary meetings to be very uplifting and exciting! It rained a lot this week for being the desert. Also the weather has tentatively solidified in the 60-70s. It's glorious! There was one day with some major flash floods that we biked through. My feet were in the water when the pedals were down so that was fun.  Life is STILL good. Amazing how that works.  Until next time, Hermana Ebbert

Cool Town Continues

Image
Transfers are happening and I'm staying in Coolidge with Sister Spearman! I'm super excited. We get along really well and this transfer will be a lot of fun! I also got called as a Sister Training Leader (STL) and so I'm excited for the added responsibilities that will add some variety and let me serve people in a different way.  Also my BROTHER got his mission call! He'll be serving the Lord by helping the people in Brazil. He will be in the MTC when I get home so that's a rip. We won't see each other for 3 years and 5 months but it's worth it! #everythingformysavior We put our friend Don on date for baptism and then saw a double rainbow. Pretty cool.  Not much else happened. Life is good! Until next time, Hermana Ebbert

So Much Spirit

Image
This week we finally got to go to the temple as a missionary district! I went to the Gilbert Arizona temple. I haven't been to a temple for about 10 months and it was great to be back in the Lord's house! We had a ton of awesome lessons and our people are starting to progress a little more. Sister Spearman, my greenie comp, put our friend Anthony on date! She's already a pro missionary.  We also watched general conference! It was SO SO good. One of my favorite quotes was something like: "the cost of discipleship is so high because the gift of the Holy Ghost is priceless."  WOW. You guys. Because I've been baptized, I have one of the greatest gifts God can give to His children. How cool is that? God is good.  Also I hit a year on the mission tomorrow.  Until next time, Hermana Ebbert
